Forticor Farms / 4-H Jamboree

Open Farm Day & Fiber Celebration

August 21, 2010, from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

Join us for a preview of 4H Paca Pals activities for youth 7-18 years of age. All interested visitors will have a chance to lead an alpaca and experience showmanship and obstacle courses.

Visitors will learn about Huacaya and Suri alpacas – their characteristics, fiber and history.

There will be tours, games, activities, face-painting and prizes. Refreshments will be provided.

We look forward to seeing you!

Shearing Day of the Alpacas is June 5, 2010, from 9am to 3pm at our farm. Visitors are welcome to watch the shearing of alpacas.

Maine Alpaca Association Open Farm Weekend
Sept. 26^th & 27^th, 2009
10 am - 4 pm

We are participating in Maine Alpaca Association Open Farm Weekend. There are tours, door prizes, and refreshments for farm visitors. Forticor Farms has fifty-seven alpacas on the farm, plus sale alpaca packages, raw fiber, yarn and alpaca products. A variety of gifts, games, recipe books and biscotti are also available. Please call if you need directions. Looking forward seeing you.
